Sam’s Appa knew it was time to have the big talk. His son was growing up, and he didn’t want him making any bad decisions because he wasn’t informed about sex. The only problem was, the day Appa tried to say something, he turned into a tortoise and disappeared into his shell.

 

Try as he might, Appa couldn't find a way out of it. Then, one day, he saw a sex ed leaflet in Sam’s bag. “Docterz At School - a healthcare company gave it to me, Appa” said Sam, walking up behind him. He awkwardly told Appa they’d held a class to talk about it. “That’s good,” Appa replied, and just like that, the shell disappeared. They hesitantly started chatting about it, and Sam discovered that his Appa could also be his friend. And Appa? He discovered the big talk wasn’t so scary, after all.
